Beaded collars are great for events and those times when you want your hound to wear something distinctive and 'one of a kind'. We've had our beaded collars available on a custom basis for a while now and decided to make them available to everyone.
These collars are 'made to fit' and are available in our Piluzo style and in the Simple Martingale style. The Ultra Suede lining extends beyond the edge of the webbing on both collar syles, adding a soft roll at the collar edges and making them slightly wider than a normal 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" collar. Both collars are made from soft poly/nylon webbing and lined with Ultra Suede, making it very soft and comfortable for even the most sensitive neck.
Simple Martingale collars are designed to slip over the head and tighten with a leash, like a regular martingale. The difference is that the collar does not have a slide for size adjustment, because it will damage the beads. The loop in the back is large enough to allow the collar to fit over your hound's head, but small enough to keep the collar on comfortably when the leash is loose or your hound is off leash in a controlled area. These collars can be worn over, or in addition to, a tag collar.
Piluzo Style collars uses an industrial strength velcro closure instead of buckles, snaps or slips. This gives your italian greyhounds a wide, beautiful collar that fits properly and provides neck protection without heavy hardware or a loose collar. The super soft loop side of the velcro faces the neck, and closure is on the inside of the collar, keeping the collar securely in place with pressure from the neck and ensuring the loop side of the collar never touches the hound's sensitive skin.
